He discussed key things that triggered interest to eventual journey in being professional graphic designer. He has been a professional graphic designer 26 year now. Then he talked about his passion to the music since he was a child. Music has shaped his Graphic Design career. 'Graphic Design is the thing that moves me'. He showed some examples of different music brands.
Iron Maiden's - he was inspired by the music and style. He talked about the thing that he didn't know what graphic design was, he just liked the music. He thought that there was something magical about it and something which captured his imagination as a teenager. He told us that the has a far better understanding now of graphic design and talked about different type faces. He did a foundation in Scarborough and has studied in York and he thinks that 'pretty graphic design is boring' he prefers something 'with  a bit of umph to it, something that's not quite right'. He ended up in New Castle later on to study and it turned out to be wrong course for him. He was interested in creating/designing record sleeve but the tutors thought there wasn't a future in record sleeve design.
